Bahu social network.

Project story

Bahu is a students social network launched in 2007. The project is growing, so the client’s goal was to find a professional development team and establish a long-term partnership. New team goal was building new version of Bahu and than support and develop its new features.

Project Specifics:

  • Over 1 million registeres users.
  • Custom static serving server cluster.
  • Lot of different clasters and load ballancing. Over 30 servers.
  • Evolution of legacy database.
  • Advanced Flash client software.
  • Project is launched already, so all improvements require strong testing.

Staff

Team of 2 developers and development team leader.

Technologies

Zend Framework (PHP), APC, JavaScript with MooTools library, Postgres DB cluster, Memcached, Flash.
