Client

Modaclub Company is the largest Ukrainian representative of West European goods online catalogues.

Project story

Modaclub wanted an “Online Shopping Cart” tool for ordering goods from Western Europe. The main issue was how to implement such tool for ordering merchandise remotely from catalogues of different online shops. It was required to be transparent for end users, e.g. users should see a single catalogue, with a single online shopping cart and control/monitor for their orders with different statuses.
To make the system work, Totem professionals leveraged and upgraded Promt Translation System for real-time translations of German catalogues to support user’s dictionaries.

Project Specifics

  • Order and track goods on 10 different online stores;
  • Real time translation of catalogues, custom upgrades and tweaks of 3rd party translation system;
  • Integration with client’s order tracking system;
  • Usability tweaks for low-level system administrators.

Staff

Art director, graphics designer, html coder, flash developer, team of 2 serverside developers, project manager.

Technologies

PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Flash. Totem’s own CMS system was used in this project.
